The next meet was quite interesting. It happened on a Sunday during the first week of February. Sudha’s (of the Madras Motiff fame) traditional home was a perfect setting to get all the crafter’s together. This time, the admins, Shilpa and Vineetha had a plan to keep the crafters busy with a challenge.
The theme for the challenge was centered around the commencement of the Chinese Lunar New Year and every participant / attendee had to work on making something to fit the given idea. Quite some innovative results came out of the attendees hands and well, that is quite a testament to how versatile, quick thinking and innovative our ChennaiCrafters are.
For a moment, you may be deluded into thinking that this meet was for the foodies, but then, know that this is the award for all the hard work put into the challenge. For all crafters eagerly looking forward to the forthcoming meetings, do know that it is put luck and everyone contributes to everyone’s palate.
It is in this meeting that the idea of having an exclusive exhibition for the ChennaiCrafters was sown. The thought was nascent, yet the ladies were determined to meet another time to draw plans to implement their idea. Interesting, right ? Wait till you hear what they came out with.
